Creating Art That Makes The World Happier
Meet Katherine!
From painting vibrant murals for CHOC Children’s Hospital to a giant frog at a bus stop in the city of Brea and a Turkey Clam in Pismo Beach, Katherine’s mission is simple: create happiness through every brushstroke. Art has the power to spark spontaneous smiles—and Katherine has spent her career doing just that!
She is now offering drawing classes. Whether you’re 5 or 95, her classes are designed to help each student find their one-of-a-kind creative voice. More than just a lesson, her goal is to start a global movement where students from around the globe find their unique artistic spark in a stress-free, fun environment. From mastering the basics of drawing shapes to turning "oops" moments into masterpieces, students will discover their art has the power to make the world happier—one smile at a time.
A Global Mission & Vision for the Future

A Vision for the Future
Katherine’s ultimate dream is to be awarded a MacArthur Fellowship (the prestigious "Genius Grant") to fuel her lifelong commitment to healing through art. With this support, she envisions providing free, happy artwork to children’s hospitals, non-profit organizations, and low-income health clinics across the globe—expanding her work from the walls of California's top hospitals to those in need worldwide.

Why Poetry Frog?
Imagine you are camping in the mountains. As the evening air grows crisp and darkness sets in, you hear the distant howl of a coyote. The chirp of crickets clicking their wings fills the night while mosquitoes dance around your fading campfire. As a choir of toads begins to croak in perfect harmony, you become increasingly aware that you are only a visitor in this nocturnal world.
As you drift off to sleep, one voice rises above the rest; it is a tiny, neon-green tree frog perched on a rock, reciting a limerick. If we could understand the language of frogs, imagine the poetry they would share!
